We are excited to share that one of our dwarf banana plants began flowering in early December of 2024! Over the past two months the flower has continued to open and reveal tiny bananas which are maturing and increasing in number weekly.
A bunch of Dwarf bananas typically take three to four months to mature on the vine from the time the flower appears until harvest. We are hoping this bunch will be ready to harvest in early March or April. We will periodically post updates on the banana’s progress and eventual harvest!
