Today we are highlighting the incredible work of our student employee, Capri Mills!
Capri (she/her) is a Biology major and Creative Writing minor from New Jersey. Capri began visiting the greenhouse soon after arriving at Bucknell as a first-year in the fall of 2022. It wasn’t long after her first visit to the greenhouse that Capri approached me about working here as a student employee. Capri is a Greenhouse Assistant and as such she waters plants, cleans up greenhouse debris, pots up plants, and assists with various special projects such as our annual holiday open house. Capri does wonderful work here in the greenhouse that is fueled by her passion for plants and a love for all the greenhouse provides for the Bucknell community.
Capri will soon end her four year tenure as a Greenhouse Assistant when she graduates this May. Upon graduation Capri will work for Epic in Madison, Wisconsin. While we will miss her greatly, we are excited for her to embark on this new chapter!
