The Bucknell Biology Museum Greenhouse is open to the public year round. All visitors are welcome to tour the space and enjoy convenient seating options throughout the museum. The greenhouse is on the fourth floor of the Biology wing of Rooke Hall and can be accessed via stairs or elevator.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm
Location: 4th floor of the Biology wing of Rooke Hall on Bucknell’s campus
Basic guidelines for visitors:
- Please navigate the greenhouse with care! Floors are often wet and can be slippery. We also have plants with thorns and spines.
- Please be respectful of plants and greenhouse equipment.
- After visiting, take any trash or recycling with you to dispose of in the greenhouse lobby.
- Please contact Greenhouse Caretaker, Tasha Hall, before bringing any large groups: thall@bucknell.edu.
Parking options: Please reference the campus parking map below. Purple and light blue lots are for campus visitors. The visitor parking closest to the greenhouse includes the visitor spaces in lot 11 and the public parking on Moore Avenue and Walker Street. Navy blue lots are for students. The student lots closest to the greenhouse are lot 39 and the lot behind Dana Engineering. Orange lots are for faculty and staff. The faculty and staff lots closest to the greenhouse are lots 13, 15, and 41. Handicap accessible parking is located on the eastern side of Rooke Hall off of 7th Street (see red line on the parking map below on the eastern side of Rooke Hall along 7th Street).
Accessibility: Handicap accessible parking is located on the eastern side of Rooke Hall off of 7th Street (see red line on the parking map below on the eastern side of Rooke Hall along 7th Street). There is a handicap accessible entrance to Rooke Hall to the right of the handicap parking spaces. Soon after entering the building through the handicapped accessible entrance, there is an elevator to your right. The greenhouse is in the 4th floor and is wheelchair accessible.
Please note that occasionally the greenhouse will be closed during normal hours for holidays and maintenance.
